Bought my 1911A1-FS-COMBO9mm/TCM22, a few years ago, but at that time my firearm did not come with the full length under picatinny rail. But what a joy. I’ve put a few thousand rounds through this firearm, both with the 9mm and theTCM22. I did have a few FTE’s, but one heck of a firearm. Although it was not a consistent problem, I did resolve my FTE issue . I changed out the extractor at one point and even though the extractor worked well with both the 9mm and TCM22. After each use of the desired caliber, I do change out to a dedicated extractor for either the 9mm or the TCM22. Not necessary and not a big deal, but that’s just me.
I did have a problem in acquiring the TCM22 ammo for just about a year. No doubt, that’s because of its popularity. I’ve since then acquired an additional 1,000 rounds of the TCM22 which should hold me for a little while.
But I will tell you, that II would recommend this firearm to anyone who enjoys shooting and you can’t beat the price. All you do is change out the barrel and recoil spring and you have a two for one value.
