    Shipping & Returns


    Most orders are shipped on the same or next business day that the order is placed. However, some orders, especially if they contain firearms, require additional processing time and may not ship on the same or next business day.

    Due to the COVID19 outbreak and current volume of orders shipping times may be further delayed beyond our control.

    We are also seeing shipping delays due to the current high volume of orders. Most orders will ship within 7 business days.

    The shipping method that you select when placing an order (Ground, Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3-Day Select) indicates the transit time with UPS only once it leaves our warehouse and is not a guarantee that the order will be delivered in 1, 2, or 3 days from the date of the order. Next Day Air does not include Saturday delivery and all shipping is based on business days and does not include weekends or holidays. Any change to the delivery method, delivery options, address change or correction, or any other modification that will require carrier’s intervention, will incur an additional $23.00 per incident charge and will need to be paid in advance prior to K-Var initiating the change.

    All firearm shipments are Adult Signature Required which incurs an additional fee.

    The shipping cutoff time is approx. 1:30 pm pst Mon-Fri. Orders placed after this time or over the weekend will be processed the next business day.

    We also offer free shipping to Las Vegas area locals on phone orders only. This is valid on all Firearm orders as well as any accessory order over $200. You must place your order over the phone with one of our sales reps and your zip code must fall within the Las Vegas Valley to qualify for free shipping*

    Lost & Missing Shipments

    Lost or missing shipments must be reported to the freight company within 30 days.  All shipments have tracking numbers which you can use to determine if your order has been delivered or is still in transit. If your tracking shows the item was delivered and it was not, please contact the shipping company first and alert them of the issue.

    International Shipping

    We do not offer international shipping and will only ship to the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii  

    Return Policy

    The buyer has 30 days from the order of merchandise (Firearms excluded) to return or exchange. All returns must have a Return Authorization number before returning. Please contact K-Var at 702-364-8880 during business hours to obtain an RMA number before shipping the item back to us. ANY PACKAGE ARRIVING WITHOUT A CLEARLY VISIBLE RMA NUMBER WRITTEN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE WILL BE REJECTED AND RETURNED TO THE SENDER BY THE RECEIVING DEPARTMENT. Returned items must be packaged securely. If the returned product is damaged during shipment to K-Var, a refund or exchange may not be granted. Credit is for the cost of the product only -15% restocking fee. Shipping and Handling charges are non-refundable.


    All ammunition sales are final and non-returnable. Ammo can only be shipped via UPS Ground. We are unable to ship ammunition to Alaska, California, New Jersey, and New York state.


    Please ensure that before taking possession of a firearm that you check the firearm for any defects. Once you have taken possession of the firearm through the dealer, K-Var can no longer issue an RMA #/ call tag for the firearm. Any and all issues with the firearm will have to be taken up with the Manufacturer directly at that point. K-Var does not reimburse for FFL transfer fees. If a defect is observed after transfer of the firearm is complete you must deal directly with the manufacturer for any repair or replacement. The Manufacturer will coordinate the return of the firearm directly with the customer. We do not offer refunds on any Firearms or NFA items once they have been shipped to the FFL dealer.


    Unserialized firearm parts will be accepted for return as long as they are in new/unmodified condition. Any parts that have been modified in any way from the original factory specs will not be accepted for return or refund for any reason.

    Accessory Returns

    Accessory items that have been opened from the original manufacturer's packaging will not be accepted for return.

    Returns will NOT be accepted for any accessories that have been installed. Most accessory items have a manufacturer warranty. Please contact the manufacturer if there are any issues with / post-installation.

    Original shipping charges are NOT refunded if the item is NOT found to be defective. Customers will be responsible for return shipping in these cases. These orders are also subject to a 15% restocking fee.

    UPS Claims

    UPS Photo Documentation Requirements

    Although a physical inspection at a UPS-approved facility (location) is typically required for damage package claims, photo documentation can also be submitted, as it helps to provide a timely resolution of your damaged package claim. When submitting photo documentation for damaged package claims, we request the following seven digital pictures:

    1. A photo of the damaged item

    2. A photo showing the damaged merchandise, inside the original box, with all of the original cushioning (picture should show the placement of the merchandise and packaging inside the box)

    3. A photo of the packaging material used inside the box (e.g. bubble wrap, Styrofoam peanuts, cardboard dividers, etc.)

    4. A close-up photo of the shipping label with tracking number (please zoom in enough to read the tracking number, which usually begins with 1Z)

    5. A close-up photo of the box manufacturer’s certificate (BMC), if available

     -The BMC is a round stamp that details either the bursting strength of the box or the edge crush rating of the box.
     -The BMC is generally found on a bottom flap on the outside of a corrugated cardboard box.

    6. Two photos displaying all six sides of the package (One photo should display the top and two sides. The second photo should display the bottom and the opposite sides.)

    7. Dimensions of the box, including the package height, length, and width

    The online claims application supports following file formats: jpg, tiff, bmp, pdf, docx
    Once the photos are received, an inspection is performed and the shipper is contacted with the results. If you are the receiver, please stay in contact with your shipper for additional information regarding the final disposition of the claim.
