Every component of the SAM7K-44 is engineered to provide decades of dependable service. The SAM7K-44 pistol is ideal for sport shooting, self-defense, and for pistol hunting. Arsenal's Exclusive Milled And Forged Receiver

Each SAM7K-44 pistol receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer forged receiver blank by the Arsenal Co. of Bulgaria. Other milled-receivers are machined from bar stock, but Arsenal's hot-die hammer forging produces stronger and finer-grained steel. Internal voids and cooling deformations are eliminated by the 5-ton hammer forging process.

Each SAM7K-44 forged pistol receiver starts out as a blank and requires over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly. This forging and milling process is very complex and time-intensive, but thanks to Arsenal's meticulous attention to detail, it delivers a receiver of unequalled strength, precision, and durability.

Love it

I was very excited to learn about a SAM7K with a threaded front sight block. This is exactly what I was looking for. Shoots super smooth with a brace. Thinking about putting a booster on it.

It’s what we all have been wanting for!

Great quality, well made. Has a great 4lbs trigger. Finish is typical Arsenal. A bit disappointed the barrel is cut and crowned AFTER being chrome lined which could jeopardize the integrity of the chrome lining and accuracy. That said it’s a PDW not a DMR and the machine work is extremely well done. The sights are relatively straight and in spec for the design but definitely not perfect and could be better. Overall it’s excellent for what it is.

AK perfection.

The Arsenal SAM7K-44 Genesis became my new favorite gun after the first time I shot it. It's the perfect SBR alternative. I put a folding brace on mine and it handles quite nicely. Very controlable recoil making rapid fire quite pleasurable. Excelent machine, Top marks. My favorite feature is the thumb safety. It's well engenieered and in my opinion should be the new standard for AK's

The best there is!

I love this gun! I've had it for about a month and have put 500 rounds through it without any jams or problems at all. It doesn't matter what type of ammo or magazine this thing just runs and runs flawlessly. It also arrived at my FFL within 2 days of placing the order which is crazy fast compared to most guns I have purchased online. This is the second AK I've bought from K-Var and it definitely won't be the last!

Great quality, very fun to shoot

So far I've only run a few mags through this pistol but it's fast becoming one of my favorites to take to the range. An absolute joy to shoot, you can really tell the quality in the receiver through the weight and rigidity. Recoil is minimal and manageable with such a short barrel even with double taps. Be prepared for big fireballs and loud reports if you use the standard muzzle device. I kind of enjoy that. Definitely a head turner at the range. The hinged dust cover is a nice touch, making for a simpler removal of the gas block.
