As the title mentions, this is my favorite AK. The SAM7R is what I would consider to be the bread and butter AK. No bells or whistles. Just a classic fixed stock AK chambered in 7.62x39.

Have had mine for 6 years.  Modifications: Ace folding stock adapter; Magpul buffer tube and stock;  cerakoted all metal parts by a great gunsmith; different muzzle brake; side optic mount; Holosun red dot; Magpul furniture on hand guard; Palm grip; aftermarket FCG; Krebs retaining pin; padded butt pad.  This is a great AKM.  Bulgarians #1, Serbians and Poles tied for second.
Watch YouTube videos for smoothing out hammer and other things AK.  Make sure front sight is not canted.  Accurate and badass tactical looking to the bone.  It’s milled and you can tell the difference between it and a stamped receiver AK.  Happy shooting.  It’s not for sale.
