Would have 5 stars but shot about 90 rounds through it and probably had 7-8 malfunctions. The cartridge is getting stuck on left side of trunnion between trunnion and barrel, not a simple rack and clear malfunction. I am hoping that it is due to break in and being on the ( 3 ) gas setting for break in. I did not have a chance to knock it back this trip but hoping uts a fluke. I have other zastava M70 that runs like sewing machine. Great experience with KVar as usual, super fast shipping and great quality firearm, hoping it works itself out on gas setting lower.

Rifle came into my FFL yesterday. Packaging for shipping from Kvar was great, no way scratches or dents are going to be an issue as mine was packed very well.

Everything was well made from Zastava. Finish, parts, sights.. all as should be.
A few things to note: despite being shown with a metal mag in their manual or online..most if not all of these ship with Zastavas polymer mag now.. which is a bummer.. most AK guys want a steel mag. This is not on Kvar, its just a fault from Zastava. However their steel mags are for purchase online (albeit pricey), but thats where you can find them.
AC unity AK556 mags do fit and feed in my rifle. A little tight at first but after inserting and taking it out a few times they now rock in just fine.
Also to note: I received a normal cleaning rod with my rifle, which is awesome because it saved me from having to buy one to complete the build. I heard some of these rifles come with sectional cleaning rods that didn't fit, I guess they changed that? All in all rifle is awesome. I can’t take it out fir a week or so due to work, but I can’t wait to break the rifle in and see how it preforms.

Lastly, I give serious kudos to Kvar: my order went through very quickly, they had my ffl of choice on file (among others fir ease), when I called to confirm everything the rep I spoke with on the phone picked up right away and answered all my questions. Top notch service from this company. Entire process was smooth as could be. Order without hesitation.
