Arsenal SAM5 America 250 Series 5.56x45mm (.223 REM) AK47 Rifle
The Arsenal SAM5 is the civilian semi-automatic counterpart to the Bulgarian Arsenal AR-M1 chambered in 5.56x45 NATO. Developed from the proven AK47 military design, the AR-M1 has served for nearly three decades in military, security, and law enforcement roles around the world. The SAM5 carries that lineage forward in a premium civilian model, combining Arsenal’s forged and milled receiver, hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel, and 5.56 NATO chambering into one of the most distinctive rifles in the Arsenal lineup. In Honor of America 250, Arsenal Inc. is offering Special Pricing on Five of it's Most Popular Models
Arsenal Inc., a premier American importer and manufacturer of semi-automatic Kalashnikov pattern firearms, is proud to commemorate the United States’ 250th anniversary with a heartfelt tribute to the nation and the freedoms it represents.
The United States of America marks this milestone as a quarter millennium defined by freedom, innovation, and determination. From its founding, the nation understood that independence from tyranny required more than words, it required the means to fight for it. The Continental Army relied on a wide range of arms, but it was imported firearms, most notably the French Charleville musket, that ultimately filled the majority of its ranks. This support not only helped secure victory, but also laid the foundation for America’s ability to develop its own domestic arms manufacturing and preserve its independence.
At Arsenal Inc., we recognize and continue that legacy. From our early beginnings importing milled Kalashnikov firearms from Bulgaria to expanding into domestic manufacturing in the United States, our mission has remained the same, to provide the highest quality mil-spec AK platforms, foreign and domestic, to the American people. For nearly three decades, we have had the privilege of serving this market, made possible by the freedoms established by its founders
In honor of America 250, Arsenal Inc. is offering a special $500 savings on five of its most popular models: SAM7R, SAM7UF, SAM7SF, SAM5, and SAM7K.

Arsenal Exclusive Forged and Milled Receiver
Arsenal’s SAM5 receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer forged receiver blank by the Arsenal Co. of Bulgaria. Other milled-receiver AKs are machined from bar stock, but Arsenal’s hot-die hammer forging produces stronger and finer-grained steel. Internal voids and cooling deformations are eliminated by the 5-ton hammer forging process.
The forged receiver blank requires over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly. This forging and milling process is complex and time-intensive, but Arsenal’s meticulous attention to detail delivers a receiver of unequalled strength, precision and durability.
