New production Yugoslavian M70 AK-47 semi-automatic rifle chambered in hard-hitting 7.62x39. This rifle features all the tried and true components you expect from the time-tested AK-47 platform. This rifle features a hard-nickel-molly steel bolt carrier group that is corrosion resistant, and a matched fire control group. Also featured on this model is a cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined barrel that is incredibly accurate and will sustain high round counts or rapid fire. This model also features the new Light Maple Furniture that is gorgeous.

One of the most notable and new features for the M70 line is the stamped 1.5mm receiver and Bulged Trunnion that Serbian rifles are known for. The new construction keeps the receiver from flexing, and the Bulged Trunnion adds incredible resistance and durability to the rifle. A convenient bolt hold-open notch is located on the safety selector. The rifle features a left side optics mount and traditional wood furniture. This rifle is built for all environments — ships with one 30-round magazine.

The ZPAP M70 rifle has all of the hard-working characteristics that you would expect of the AK-47 platform. The ZPAP M70 features a Cold Hammer forged barrel and an accurately heat-treated matched fire control group. New for this rifle is the 1.5mm stamped receiver and Bulged Trunnion that the Serbian guns are known for. This new construction keeps the receiver from flexing, and the Bulged Trunnion adds incredible resistance and durability to the rifle. One of the most striking features on this rifle is the beautiful classic wood furniture and the corrosion-resistant hard-nickel molly steel bolt carrier, which aids in its durability. Zastava has also included other convenient features such as a bolt hold open on the safety selector and a left-hand optics mounting rail. This model also includes the new Light Maple furniture which is gorgeous. Serbian Beast

I took this baby out and boy is she a beast. Not as smooth as my Sam 7, hopefully with regular use the action will get smoother. I do have to say it's a bit heavy for a stamped receiver but the again it has a 1.5mm receiver and Bulged Trunnion, so it's expected. If you are looking for a nimble lightish stamped AK47 I would go with something else. If you want a beautiful engineered and rugged AK47 that won't cost you 2K then this is the right choice for you.
